🥗 Tasty Summer Skewers with NICO® Summer Kitchen Tools
Ingredients for 4 servings 🍢
For the skewers:
🍗 250 g chicken breast
🧈 200 g firm tofu (or smoked tofu)
🥒 1 zucchini
🌶 1 red or yellow bell pepper
🧅 1 red onion
🍄 8 white mushrooms
🌿 Herbes de Provence
🍋 Olive oil, lemon juice
🧂 Salt, pepper
🍯 Marinade with the NICO® shaker:
🌱 3 tbsp olive oil
🍜 2 tbsp soy sauce
🍋 1 tbsp lemon juice
🍯 1 tbsp honey
🧄 1 minced garlic clove
🌶 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
🧂 Black pepper
⏱️ Preparation time: 10 min prep + 30 min marinating + 10 min cooking
1️⃣ 🔪 Prepare the ingredients Cut the chicken, tofu, zucchini, bell pepper, and onion into regular 2 cm cubes for even cooking. Use the NICO® gloves for safe cutting and the mandoline to quickly slice summer vegetables.
2️⃣ 🧴 Make the marinade Pour all the marinade ingredients into your NICO® shaker, seal tightly, and shake for 10 seconds. You’ll get a smooth, flavorful marinade.
3️⃣ 🥡 Marinate the ingredients Place meat, tofu, and veggies in a bowl. Add the marinade, mix to coat, cover, and let rest 30 minutes in the fridge (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
4️⃣ 🍢 Assemble the skewers Thread ingredients onto skewers, alternating meat, tofu, and veggies for visually appealing, colorful skewers.
5️⃣ 🔥 Cook Grill on barbecue or plancha for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Brush with leftover marinade before serving.
